Putin decrees to set up department for IT, e-democracy

The decree is enacted “to set up a department for using information technology and developing electronic democracy within the presidential administration”
MOSCOW, June 30 (Itar-Tass) — President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on setting up a presidential department for using information technology and developing electronic democracy, the Kremlin press service reported on Saturday.
In order to ensure the activity of the president of the Russian Federation for developing information technology the decree is enacted “to set up a department for using information technology and developing electronic democracy within the presidential administration”.
