MOSCOW, June 2 (Itar-Tass) —— President Vladimir Putin appointed Police Major-General Anatoly Yakunin the new head of the Interior Ministry’s Main Directorate for Moscow.

Prior to the appointment, Yakunin held a similar position in the Novgorod region.
