Putin to host CSTO and CIS summits in Moscow

An informal CIS summit will be held in Moscow the same day

MOSCOW, May 10 (Itar-Tass) — A jubilee session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will be held in Moscow on May 15. It will be devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty and the 10th anniversary of the organization’s creation, the Kremlin press service reports.

Apart from the summit’s host President Vladimir Putin, the session will be attended by the heads of all countries-members of the CSTO: Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev, Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon and Uzbek President Islam Karimov.

An informal CIS summit will be held in Moscow the same day.
