Krasnodar tourist found dead in Adygeya

Thirty-five rescuers from Adygeya, Krasnodar and Sochi searched for the missing tourist through the weekend

MAIKOP, March 11 (Itar-Tass) —— Krasnodar tourist Yevgeny Graver, who disappeared in a snow avalanche on Mount Bolshoy Tkhach in Adygeya, was found dead on Sunday, republican emergency situations department spokesman Sergei Sergeyev told Itar-Tass.

Graver and another Krasnodar tourist Alexander Yeliseyev went to the mountains on Friday without being registered at the local rescue service. A snow avalanche went down when they were approaching Maly Tkhach. Yeliseyev escaped from the snow trap and told the rescuers about the accident.

Thirty-five rescuers from Adygeya, Krasnodar and Sochi searched for the missing tourist through the weekend. The area they examined was 200 to 250 square meters in size.
