MOSCOW, March 7 (Itar-Tass) —— The Russian State Duma’s labour and social policy committee might soon initiate changes in the composition of the consumer goods basket, the committee’s chairman, Andrei Isayev, said on Wednesday.

“The issue of a consumer goods basket for 2013 is under discussion now,” he said at a meeting with Russian Minister of Healthcare and Social Development Tatiana Golikova. “Bearing in mind that the consumption patterns have changed we would like to fix a new market basket of consumer goods.”
