The fate of eight more people is still unknown
MOSCOW, February 28 (Itar-Tass) —— Two dead bodies have been retrieved from under the debris after a household gas explosion in Russia’s southern city of Astrakhan, a spokesman for the Southern regional emergencies centre told Itar-Tass on Monday.
“Two dead bodies were found in the debris at 22:41 Moscow time. The fate of eight more people is still unknown,” he said.
The explosion occurred in a six-section nine-storey apartment house. As a result, one of the sections collapsed completely.
