MOSCOW, February 9 (Itar-Tass) — Tumultuous events in the Middle East should not divert the attention from the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said on Thursday.

“Russia’s position on this issue remains unchanged. We believe that tumultuous events in the Middle East should not divert the attention from the just settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict,” the diplomat said.
