Lavrov and Fradkov commenced the talks with Bashar Assad
DAMASCUS, February 7 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Mikhail Fradkov commenced the talks with the Syrian President Bashar Assad.
The two high-ranking officials arrived in the Syrian capital on Tuesday to try to find a way out of the Syrian crisis.
“It is in our interests to see Arab peoples live in peace and accord,” Lavrov said at the beginning of the talks with the Syrian leader.
