MOSCOW, January 25 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev does not thing brain drain in Russia is a major problem.

“It is a matter of personal decision,” he said on Wednesday, answering a question from a student, who is planning to be working overseas after graduation. “Besides, I cannot say what your future will be there if you go – there are enough problems there, too, the competition is very high.”

The president said that Russians “have been fighting for a long time to be able to implement a desire to leave.”

“If you have this wish – leave! Try it!” he told the student.

“This is a normal mobility of the youth,” Medvedev said noting that other countries are facing a similar situation. He added saying “the government, of course, should provide conditions, under which qualified specialists remain in the country.”

“We are trying as much as we can,” he concluded.
