VLADIVOSTOK, January 12 (Itar-Tass) — Police in Vladivostok detained a citizen of Uzbekistan who has been wanted by Interpol for terrorism and crimes against the society, the press service of regional police told tar-Tass.

The foreigner was detained on Wednesday. He will be under arrest pending the decision on his extradition to Uzbekistan.

Police said the man had acquired a fake passport in Vladivostok and a driving license and got a job at a construction firm. Next, he enrolled into a cell or a banned extremist organization, which supported Uzbek radicals.

As a member of the banned organization, he led the efforts to collect asocial documents and literature, and made preparations to mail the materials to his native country.
