Croatia will introduce transit travel via its territory for foreign citizens multiple Schengen C and national D visas

MOSCOW, December 29 (Itar-Tass) — Croatia will allow the visa-free entry for a term of 90 days for Schengen visa holders from January 1 to December 31, 2012, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported due to a corresponding decision taken by the republic’s government of December 7.

According to the ministry, Croatia will introduce the visa-free entry, the short-term stay in the republic and transit travel via its territory for foreign citizens, who have unexpired permits for residence,  multiple Schengen C and national D visas, issued by embassies or consular offices by member-countries of the Schengen agreement.

“These permits and visas should be effective as of the date of departing from the Republic of Croatia,” the ministry said.
