Moscow welcomes victory of common sentence in pilots’ case in Tajikistan

The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Sunday

MOSCOW, November 22 (Itar-Tass) — Russia welcomes the victory of the common sense in the odious case of the Russian and Estonian pilots in Tajikistan, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.

“Today, on November 22, the Khatlon Regional Court of the Republic of Tajikistan heard an appeal the defense of pilots – Russian citizen Sadovnichy and Estonian citizen Rudenko – filed on November 11. The main result of this hearing is the release of the pilots in the courtroom,” the ministry said.

“Russian citizen Sadovnichy is staying at the Russian embassy in the Republic of Tajikistan. He will fly to Moscow on November 24. The Russian embassy assisting Estonian colleagues with Rudenko’s transportation home,” the ministry said.
