MAKHACHKALA, November 2 (Itar-Tass) — Two policemen have been killed by unidentified gunners on the outskirts of Babayurt Village (Babayurt District of Dagestan). A spokesman for the Investigation Committee of Russia (SKR) Department for Dagestan has told Itar-Tass, "Unidentified gunmen riding in a VAZ-2106 vehicle, fired at a police patrol on the outskirts of the village at about 01:00 Moscow time, and fled." Two members of local police personnel were killed as a result of the attack. An investigation team is currently at work at the scene of the incident. Measures are being taken to identify and apprehend the attackers.
