KIEV, September 7 (Itar-Tass) — The launch of the Nord Stream gas pipeline between Russia and Germany may have only a slight influence on the transit of gas via Ukraine’s gas transporting system, Ukraine’s Minister of Energy Yuri Boiko said on Wednesday.

“With raising consumption of gas in Europe, we hope that if transit reduces at all, it will be by much,” he said.
