MOSCOW, September 6 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian experts presented a new edition, “Russian Consumer Guide” of the best wines of the world, at Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

The Russian Union of Wine Growers and Makers and the Asti Group published the guide together.

The guide presents the best wines of Russia, CIS member countries, Eastern Europe and other regions, which are sold at Russian supermarkets and liquor stores, cafes and restaurants.

The guide not only describes the wines but also contains photographs of wine bottles, which will help consumers make their choice at shops, Chairman of the Russian Union of Wine Growers and Makers Boris Titov said. He noted that Russia’s best experts had tasted several hundreds of wines in the writing of the guide.

The guide will be presented to the public at the Beverage Industry exhibition in Moscow on November 17-19, 2011. It will be sold at liquor stores and supermarkets of Moscow and other large cities of Russia.
