Public schools and shops opening in Eastern Ghouta once again

Public services have started functioning in the liberated communities

EASTERN GHOUTA /Syria/, April 6. /TASS/. Eastern Ghouta residents who are returning to their homes have started receiving documents instead of lost ones, and public services have renewed operation in communities liberated by militants, said head of the Russian Reconciliation Center for the Conflicting Sides Major General Yury Yevtushenko.

"Public services have started functioning in the liberated communities, social infrastructure is being restored, and hospitals, schools and shops are opening. Issuance of documents instead of lost ones has been organized. A total of 50,375 civilians have returned to their homes since the start of the active phase of the operation," the general said.

According to Yevtushenko, military of the Russian Reconciliation Center are distributing food packages, hot meals and bottled water in the communities of Saqba, Kafr Batna, Jobar, Zamalka and others. Civilians are receiving necessary medical help.
