Poll shows Ukrainians most annoyed with parliament, government, president

Almost 60% of those who took part in the survey disapprove of the the president’s handling of his job

KIEV, March 23. /TASS/. Ukrainians are most annoyed with the Verkhovna Rada (parliament), the country’s government and president, the Rating pollster said citing a recent survey.

A total of 72% of those polled are dissatisfied with the parliament’s performance, while 67% are disappointed in the government and 57% do not approve of the president’s handling of his job.

At the same time, the approval ratings of state institutions have been declining in the past years. In 2015, as many as 38% of Ukrainians approved of the way the country’s president was handling his responsibilities, while in 2016 their number dropped to 25% and recently plunged to 18%. The Rada’s approval rating collapsed from 27% to 11%, while the government’s approval rating fell from 27% to 13% in 2016.

According to the UNIAN news agency, the poll involving more than 19,000 people, was conducted in 22 regional centers.
