The launches were performed in a true-to-life combat situation

SEOUL, November 28. /TASS/. South Korea’s military have delivered a "precision strike" on practice targets in response to North Korea’s ballistic missile launch, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said on Tuesday.

The launches were performed in a true-to-life combat situation.

This way, South Korea demonstrates to North Korea its readiness to immediately respond by delivering a strike on North Korea’s vital facilities and control centers if need be.

According to earlier reports, North Korea has launched yet another ballistic missile.

"North Korea launched an unidentified ballistic missile eastward from the vicinity of Pyongsong, South Pyongan Province, at dawn today," South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said.

The missile flew in the eastwards direction. South Korean and US military are analyzing its trajectory.

In July, North Korea made two test launches of ballistic missiles. On August 29 and September 15, it launched two missiles which flew over Japan and on September 3 it announced a successful test of a hydrogen bomb.
