UFA, March 26. /TASS/. Three people died and one was hurt as two trains collided in Russia’s Republic of Bashkortostan, a source in the local emergencies services told TASS on Sunday.

"According to preliminary information, three people died and one person was hurt in a collision of two railway trains in the territory of Uchalinsky mining and processing facility," the source said.

The accident was confirmed by a spokesman for the republic’s department of the Russian emergencies ministry. "The accident occurred at 15:05 Moscow time in the town of Uchaly. There are no threats to the settlement. Clear-up operations are underway," the spokesman told TASS.
