LONDON, March 24. /TASS/. The fourth victim of Wednesday’s attack near the Houses of Parliament in London died in hospital late Thursday, the Metropolitan Police said.
The victim was a 75-year-old man who succumbed to his injuries. According to Sky News, the man passed away after his life support was turned off.
The attack in the heart of London started on Wednesday when the assailant’s car ran into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge. The attacker, armed with a knife, then rushed towards the Houses of Parliament and stabbed the policeman before he was shot dead by police at the scene. British police have identified the perpetrator as Khalid Masood, 52, a native of Kent.
