MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. At least 15 people died as a bus veered off a cliff in the central Peruvian Andes, France Press reported on Sunday, citing a statement by local authorities.
According to the news agency, the bus was carrying 22 passengers when it crashed. The bodies of 15 victims were taken to a local hospital and identified, the condition of the remaining passengers is currently unknown.
Bad weather in the region was cited as a preliminary cause for the accident.
