PARIS, February 13. /TASS/. The death toll in the French Alps Monday’s avalanche has reached four, the BFM TV channel reported citing rescuers.
Earlier reports said that nine people, including a local guide, were swept away in the avalanche near the ski resort of Tignes (Savoy), in the French Alps at an altitude of 2,100 meters. They were skiing off-piste when the availanche occurred.
Search for survivors continues.
