Militants from illegal armed groups have violated ceasefire in Syria 28 times over the last 24 hours, including 16 times in the Damascus province, nine in the Aleppo province, two in the Hama province and one in the Latakia province, the Russian Center for reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria said in a daily news bulletin published on the Russian Defense Ministry’s official website on Tuesday.

"In the province of Damascus, groups affiliating with the opposition to the Jaysh al-Islam organization, shelled from mortars and firearms the settlements of Jaubar, Barza, Zibdin, Kafer-Batna, Mazraad-Mahmoud and Harasta, Ibn al-Walid hospital, al-Wafidin camp and motorway near the settlement of Douma in the province of Damascus. Armed groups from Ahram al-Sham shelled from multiple rocket launcher systems the neighborhood of Salah al-Din in the city of Aleppo and from firearms - the settlement of Hash-Hasha in the Latakia province," the Russian center said.

According to the center, groups from the Jebhat Fath al-Sham (former Jebhat al-Nusra, banned in Russia) shelled from multiple rocket launcher systems, mortars and firearms ‘1040’ quarters, Amri, al-Qilyasa, Benjamin, Dahiya al-Asad, Jamariya Harb al-Zahra and Soukari in the city of Aleppo.

"In the province of Damascus, terrorists opened fire at the settlements of Arbin, Harasta al-Qantara, Haush Nastri, Haush al-Shalaq and the sports ground in the settlement of Jaubar. In the province of Hama, terrorists shelled the settlements of Abu Ubeida and Jardeesa," the Russian center said.

Russian Aerospace Defense Forces and Syrian Air Force did not deliver airstrikes at opposition armed groups that announced joining the ceasefire regime and reported their locations to the Russian or US reconciliation centers.

Two settlements in the Syrian province of Latakia have joined the ceasefire regime over the last 24 hours, the Russian reconciliation center added. "The number of settlements that joined the ceasefire regime has increased to 1,070," the Russian center said.

"Talks on joining the ceasefire regime continued with field commanders of armed groups in the province of Damascus and units of armed opposition in the provinces of Homs, Hama, Aleppo and Quneitra. The number of armed groups that declared their adherence to joining and observing the ceasefire regime has remained unchanged ― 94," the Russian center added.

Humanitarian events were not held over the last 24 hours. Hot meals and necessities outlets continue to work for civilians who left Aleppo’s eastern neighborhoods, the Russian center said.
