WASHINGTON, December 20. /TASS/. US President-elect Donald Trump has condemned the assassination of Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov, Reuters reported on Tuesday.
In a statement issued by Trump’s transition team on Monday, the US president-elect said the attack was carried out by a "radical Islamic terrorist" and violated "all rules of civilized order."
Trump offered condolences to the family of Russian Ambassador Andrei Karlov, who was fatally shot while attending an event at an art gallery in Ankara.
