MOSCOW, December 15. /TASS/. Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will take part in evacuating wounded militants from eastern Aleppo, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of opposing sides said in a statement on Thursday.
"The Russian Center for Reconciliation has contacted representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in order to assist in the transportation of wounded militants from eastern Aleppo. The ICRC personnel will accompany the ambulances carrying wounded militants out of Aleppo, guided by the officers from the Russian Center for Reconciliation," the statement reads.
A source in the ICRC headquarters in Geneva earlier told TASS that 100 ICRC personnel as well as the Syrian Arab Red Crescent volunteers would take part in evacuating the wounded.
