Dutch Foreign Ministry invites Russian, Iranian ambassadors to discuss Aleppo

THE HAGUE, December 14. /TASS/. Russian and Iranian ambassadors to the Netherlands have been invited to the Foreign Ministry, as follows from a statement posted on the Dutch Foreign Ministry’s Twitter page.

"Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders has invited the ambassadors of Russia and Iran," the post says. "It is important to make evacuation in Aleppo possible this time. We strongly condemn the current situation."

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the leaders of armed gangs in eastern Aleppo breached ceasefire with the Syrian authorities and the agreement on their withdrawal from the city and resumed combat operations Wednesday morning. The government army rolled back the attackers. According to the Russian military’s center for the reconciliation of warring factions in Syria near 6,000 civilians, including 2,200 children have been evacuated from militants-held areas of Aleppo over the past 24 hours.
