BEIRUT, December 11. /TASS/. Syria’s opposition has given no consent to the United States’ and Russia’s proposal to evacuate its armed groups from Aleppo, Asaad al-Zoubi of the High Negotiations Committee told Al-Arabiya on Sunday.
He demanded United Nations guarantees that no repression against civilians from the regime will follow militants’ withdrawal.
According to Al Arabiya, the United States and Russia came out with a joint initiative to ensure safe evacuation of armed oppositionists from Aleppo within 48 hours.
