ANKARA, December 11. /TASS/. The terrorist attack carried out in Istanbul has left some people dead and wounded, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a written statement issued on Sunday.
"This night our security forces and civilians have been attacked in Besiktas. The attack carried out right after a football match between Besiktas and Bursaspor, seems to have been aimed to claim as many lives as possible. Unfortunately, we have dead and wounded," the president said.
Erdogan stated that Turkey would continue to combat terrorist organizations and "will never stop to pursue them.".
