BEIRUT, December 9. /TASS/. Terrorists from the Jebhat Fath al-Sham (former Jebhat al-Nusra, banned in Russia) are shelling from mortars the western parts of Aleppo controlled by the Syrian army, SANA news agency reported on Friday.
A spokesman for local police said that 12 civilians, including children, were killed in the city and dozens more injured over the past 24 hours. Most of them became victims of the shelling of the Baraa mosque in the Azamiya neighborhood.
Syrian forces opened response fire at positions of militants.
