KIEV, December 1. /TASS/. Ukraine’s exercises with missiles tests have got underway, head of the press center of Ukraine’s Southern Air Command, Vladimir Kryzhanovsky, said on Thursday.
"The missile tests have begun, that is, everything is proceeding according to plan," he said.
According to Kryzhanovsky, "the exercises are held in accordance with international law and with strict observance of these norms."
He added that so far Kiev had received no response from Russia. "Some kind of reaction from the Russian Federation was expected… Nothing is happening," he said.
The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency earlier reported that Ukraine unilaterally decided to carry out missile tests on December 1-2 in Russia’s sovereign airspace near Crimea where the itineraries of civil and state aircraft lie.
