MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. The West has been waging an information war accusing Russia of killing civilians in Syria, the country’s ambassador to Russia Riyad Haddad told TASS on Wednesday.
"The West has been waging an information war against Russia and Syria, its allegations testify to the fact that it is a 100% information war," the Syrian diplomat said commenting on the West’s accusations leveled against Russia claiming that its slaughtering civilians in Syria.
"I don’t want to hear these allegations anymore because they are part of a campaign aimed at Syria, in particular," the ambassador added.
Syria's government supports the initiative to hold the intra-Syrian talks in the country’s capital of Damascus, but it is still unclear when the talks could take place, Syrian Ambassador to Russia Riyad Haddad told TASS on Wednesday.
"The talks are being organized, our government is ready to host them," the diplomat said noting that the timeframe has not been established yet.
At the same time, Haddad pointed out that "the war on terror and the reconciliation process have been running in parallel."
