LUGANSK, November 30. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have shelled people’s militia positions in the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) twice over the past 24 hours, a source in the LPR Defense Ministry told the Luganskinformtsentr news agency on Wednesday.

According to the source, the Ukrainian military shelled the Prince Igor monument area from the direction of Stanitsa Luganskaya using automatic grenade launchers, light anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms.

Members of the Contact Group on the settlement in eastern Ukraine agreed at an August 26 meeting in Minsk on an indefinite ceasefire on the line of contact in Donbass as of September 1, the ninth one since the autumn 2014 agreement. However, the security situation in the Donbass region has not improved dramatically.
