Normandy Four foreign ministers to discuss roadmap on Ukraine settlement

The Russian Foreign Ministry says the basis for the roadmap will be principle of "synchronous actions in the sphere of ensuring security and promoting political reforms"

MINSK, October 29. /TASS/. The foreign minister of the Normandy format (Russia, Germany, France, Ukraine) Sergey Lavrov, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Jean-Marc Ayrault and Pavel Klimkin will meet in Minsk on Tuesday to discuss settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine.

The agenda of the meeting was not announced beforehand but it is expected to focus on the roadmap of settlement in eastern Ukraine. This task was set by the leaders of the Normandy Quartet countries at the meeting in Berlin on October 19.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that in accordance with the agreements reached in Berlin, the basis for the roadmap will be principle of "synchronous actions in the sphere of ensuring security and promoting political reforms" in the framework of the Minsk Agreements from 12 February 2015.
