MOSCOW, November 22. /TASS/. An earthquake of 5.6 magnitude was registered off New Zealand’s North Island, US Geological Survey said on Tuesday.
The epicenter lay at the depth of 10 kilometers in 75 kilometers to the east of Castlepoint. No injuries or damages have been reported.
On November 13 an earthquake of 7.5 magnitude struck New Zealand killing two people and inflicting billions of dollars of losses on the country.
