VIENNA, November 21. /TASS/. Ambassador James Warlick has announced his plans to resign as a U.S. co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement from December 31, 2016 to join a Russian law firm.

"I will step down as OSCE Co-Chair on December 31. It has been an honor to serve in the State Department for more than 30 years," he wrote on his Twitter account on Monday.

He wrote he has opted to be a partner in "Russia’s largest and most prestigious law firm."
