Seventeen civilians evacuated from Aleppo — Russian Defense Ministry

Among the evacuated civilians were eight children

MOSCOW, November 16. /TASS/. Eight Syrian children accompanied by their parents — 17 civilians in total — were evacuated from Aleppo, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.

"The Russian reconciliation center helped bring six Syrian children accompanied by their parents to the Hmeymim aerodrome (11 people in total) in order to further send them for medical treatment to the S.M. Kirov Medical Military Academy (in St. Petersburg)," the Russian Center for reconciliation of the warring parties said in its daily informational bulletin published on the Defense Ministry's official website. "Over the last 24 hours, 17 civilians (including 8 children) and one militant exited the blocked districts of the city of Aleppo," the center added.
