Power, water supplies restored in DPR south after shelling by Kiev forces

DONETSK, November 16. /TASS/. Repair teams have completely restored power and water supplies in settlements in the Novoazovsk region of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) disrupted by Tuesday’s shelling of Kiev forces, the local administration’s acting head, Anatoly Yanovsky, said on Wednesday.

"Disrupted by the shelling of Ukrainian troops, power has been completely restored in the Novoazovsk region," Yanovsky said.

On Tuesday evening, Ukrainian military opened artillery and mortar fire on DPR southern villages, leaving Novoazovsk region without electricity and water. Later, the villages of Sakhanka and Leninskoye were reconnected due to reserve transmission lines. However, at night a second power outage took place.
