DONETSK, November 10. /TASS/. Head of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) in the Donetsk region Vitaly Marikov is involved in the murder of a militia commander of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Arsen Pavlov, nicknamed Motorola, head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko told reporters on Thursday.
"I am ready to name those involved in Motorola’s murder. According to our information, Vitaly Marikov took part in the planning of his murder. As the SBU head in the Donetsk region, he supervises the activities of the subversive groups in Donbass," The Donetsk News Agency quoted Zakharchenko as saying.
Arsen Pavlov was killed on October 16 in Donetsk in his apartment building. The perpetrators had planted a powerful explosive device in the elevator and detonated it when Pavlov was going up to his apartment. An investigation group of the DPR Interior Ministry and the Ministry of State Security Ministry classified this blast as terror attack.
