DPR, LPR reject "truncated" version of prisoner exchange formula — envoy

DPR and LPR "keep insisting on the ‘all for all’ formula for prisoner exchanges stipulated by the Minsk Accords," Vladislav Deinego said

LUGANSK, November 9. /TASS/. Envoys of the self-proclaimed People’s Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk (DPR and LPR) have rejected a "truncated" version of the formula for prisoner swaps in Donbass, the LPR envoy at the Minsk peace talks, Vladislav Deinego, said on Wednesday after the meeting of the Contact Group seeking to find a solution to the conflict in eastern Ukraine.

"During today’s meeting of the Contact Group’s humanitarian subgroup, the LPR and DPR negatively responded to an OSCE proposal to discuss a ‘truncated’ exchange of captives," Deinego told Lugansk Inform Center, adding that the unrecognized republics "keep insisting on the ‘all for all’ formula for prisoner exchanges stipulated by the Minsk Accords."

Also, the LPR envoy said that the humanitarian subgroup tackled the issues of pension payments and operation of the checking point in Stanitsa Luganskaya.

"No serious progress has been made on either of the issues," he noted.
