China is ready to develop relations with new US president's administration

Chinese Foreifn Ministry's spokesman said that the two countries will work together to ensure the sustained development of bilateral relations "for the good of the peoples"

BEIJING, November 9. /TASS/. China is ready to cooperate with the new US administration "for the good of the two countries’ peoples," Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lu Kang said at a regular briefing in Beijing.

"We will work with the new US president in order to ensure the sustained development of bilateral relations for the good of the two countries’ peoples," the diplomat stated.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has won the US presidential election after securing 278 electoral votes, according to the Real Clear Politics, while his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton garnered 218 votes. To win the presidency, a candidate must chalk up 270 electoral votes.
