No signs suggesting violent death found on body of Russian mission employee — US medic

NEW YORK, November 8. /TASS/. No signs suggesting death through violence have been found on the body of an on-duty building services supervisor of the Russian Consulate General who died at the mission on Tuesday morning, the Consulate General said on its Facebook page on Tuesday.

"An on-duty building services supervisor died in the Consulate General in New York on November 8," the post said. "An American medic allowed into the Consulate General clearly stated the absence of any signs suggesting a violent death. At the moment, medics continue looking into the reason behind the tragedy," it said.

An employee of Russia’s General Consulate in New York died on Tuesday morning presumably of a heart attack, spokesman for Russia’s Embassy in the United States Nikolai Lakhonin told TASS earlier in the day.

"Medics are currently establishing the cause of his death. Presumably, the man suffered a heart attack," he said.
