MOSCOW, October 21. /TASS/. The Iraqi government forces have rebuffed an attack by the Islamic State terrorist group (outlawed in Russia) on Kirkuk in the north of the country, the province's authorities have told Al Jazeera.
Sky News Arabia earlier reported a series of attacks at government buildings in Kirkuk, as well as a suicide bomber attack at a power generating plant which killed 16 people.
