KIEV, October 16. /TASS/. An armored personnel carrier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has hit the passenger bus on a highway near the Petrovskoye settlement in the Donetsk Region, Ukrainian "24 Channel" reported on Sunday.
"As a result of the accident, the bus driver died on the spot," the channel said. One of the passengers was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Photographs taken on the site show that the bus was hit in the front and sustained considerable damage while the armored personnel carrier was minimally damages.
On Saturday, Eduard Basurin, spokesman for operational command of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), said that two civilians were killed under the tracks of Ukrainian tanks in the settlement of Novomaryevka in the part of the Donetsk Region controlled by Kiev. According to DPR, Ukrainian servicemen under the influence of alcohol ran over the couple standing in front of their house.
