DONETSK, October 13. /TASS/. Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Alexander Zakharchenko accused Ukraine on Thursday of breaching the Minsk peace accords by using aircraft in the conflict area.

According to Zakharchenko, the pro-Kiev forces attacked the positions of the DPR militia by using a combat helicopter.

"Recently, an attempt was made to attack us from a helicopter. It ended in a failure. The helicopter sustained damage and landed on the territory controlled by Ukraine," Zakharchenko was quoted by the Donetsk News Agency as saying.

According to Zakharchenko, the situation along the engagement line in the Donbass region, including in Debaltsevo, was aggravating.

"In actual fact, the situation has exacerbated not only in the area of Novoazovsk. The situation has also aggravated in the area of Debaltsevo. There is no talk so far about disengaging troops and military hardware at other sections," he was quoted by the Donetsk News Agency as saying.
