Aeroflot plane in Geneva's airport is being searched after bomb threat — airline official

MOSCOW, October 13. /TASS/. A passenger plane of the Russian air carrier Aeroflot (which was due to leave Geneva for Moscow at 12:35 local time, flight 2381) is being searched for a bomb on board, an Aeroflot official has said.

"At 14:00 Moscow time the Geneva police received a threat call a bomb had been planted on board. A decision was made to search the liner. The passengers were asked to proceed to the boarding terminal for extra examination. An inspection of the luggage on board and the plane is in progress."

"According to information available at this point the threat caller has been detained and is being questioned by police. The passengers enjoy all services under the applicable federal aviation rules and Aeroflot standards," the carrier’s spokesman has said.
