BEIJING, October 11. /TASS/. China calls on the world to reject the outdated mindset of the Cold War, Defense Minister Chang Wanquan said on Tuesday at the opening of the 7th Xiangshan security forum.

"We should reject the outdated mindset of the Cold War," Chnag said adding that the countries in the world should prioritize in their international cooperation "the creation of the new global security architecture."

The Russian delegation to the forum is led by Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov.

The Xiangshan forum is organized by the Chinese Defense Ministry, Academy of Military Science and Institute for International Strategic Studies. The first forum was held in 2006. It was then held once in two years. The forum has been held annually since 2015. The forum will end on October 12.
