Georgian voters will elect 150 MPs for the term of four years

TBILISI, October 8. /TASS/. Parliamentary elections have started in Georgia. A total of 3,645 polling stations opened in the country at 8am local time (7am Moscow time). Georgian voters will elect 150 MPs for the term of four years - 77 members on party lists and another 73 in single-seat constituencies.

Voting will finish at 8pm local time (7pm Moscow time). The Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC) said earlier that there are over 3.5 eligible voters in Georgia, reminding that the elections will be recognized as valid with any voter turnout.
