DONETSK, September 21. /TASS/. No shellings carried out by Kiev forces were reported during the night in the towns of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic located near the contact line, the heads of local administrations said on Wednesday.

"Everything is fine here, the night was calm," Maxim Zhukovsky, who heads the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, told the Donetsk News Agency. The silence regime was also implemented in other districts of the city - Kievsky, Kuybyshevsky and Kirovsky.
Authorities in Gorlovka and Makeyevka have also confirmed that the ceasefire holds there. "The night was calm, we recorded no shellings," said Ivan Prikhodko, the acting head of the Gorlovka city administration.
The participants of the Contact Group on settlement in eastern Ukraine at the meeting in Minsk, Belarus, on August 26 declared an indefinite ceasefire in Donbass starting from September 1. This was the ninth attempt since autumn 2014 to observe the silence regime in the region.
