KIEV, September 12. /TASS/. An unidentified man threatens to stage an explosion at the Obolon brewery in Kiev unless he is paid a ransom, a spokesman for Kiev’s national police said on Monday.
"A police front office in Kiev’s Obolon district received information that a brewery has been mined in Bogatyrskaya Street. The offender demands a ransom from the owner threatening to blow the building up," police said.
Police officers are examining the building and territories around it.
Under Ukraine’s Criminal Code, knowingly false statements threatening security of people, destruction or damage of real estate are punishable by a prison term of up to six years.
