YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, September 9. /TASS/. Seismologists on Russia’s Sakhalin Island registered a 4.8 magnitude earthquake in North Korea on Friday morning, a source in the Yuzhno-Sakhalink seismic station has told TASS.

"The earthquake occurred at 11.29 Sakhalin time (03.29 Moscow Time) at 41.2 degrees north latitude, 128.5 degrees east longitude at a depth of 12 kilometers," the source said.
